think3(R)'s New Initiative Offering Free 2D Software and Community User Site Surpasses 10,000 Downloads in One Month

    CINCINNATI, Nov. 28 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- think3 Inc.,
a leading supplier of product development solutions and
industrial design, today reported there have been more than
10,000 downloads of its free 2D software in only one month
at http://www.free2Design.org in response to its new
free2Design initiative. free2Design was introduced last
month in China as part of the company's goal to provide
legal and free use of 2D software for developing countries
in conjunction with a rich community user site where people
can exchange ideas about product development. 

    "We're very excited by the early response to
free2Design," said Eugenio Vacca, senior product
manager at think3. "We've had more than 11,000
downloads to date and more than 2,000 users have joined the
free2Design community. Our goal has been for people to
discover free2Design and then invite their friends or
colleagues to join. It's about peer-to-peer communications
and it's working. We're seeing a number of downloads being
activated from the same Web community account that shows a
group of colleagues or a community of designers are
accessing free2Design together."

not only in China and India, but also in the US, the UK,
South America and even Slovenia. "free2Design was
created primarily for those countries that don't have ready
access to licensed and supported software tools in order to
