Achievo Appoints James Li to Head New Japan Business Group

Japan Business Group -- One of Two New Organizations Announced Today

    SAN RAMON, Calif., Aug. 7 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ --
Achievo(R) Corporation, the leading global software and
information technology outsourcing provider with a local
front-end and China back-end service model, announced today
that James C. Li, PhD has been named general manager of the
Achievo Japan Business Group, a new business group that
oversees all the Achievo divisions that are mainly involved
in Japanese business.  (Refer to the Achievo Business Groups
press announcement released today.)  Dr. Li will report to
Dr. Robert P. Lee, Achievo's chairman and chief executive
officer.

portion of our business. Based on experience and track

than James Li.

    As the head of the Achievo Japan Business Group, the
Achievo ANS (Tokyo, Japan and Beijing, China); Achievo
Wintech (Shanghai, China) and Achievo BBX (Beijing and
Dalian, China; and Tokyo, Japan) divisions will report to
Dr. Li.   

    Dr. Li joined Achievo in China in 2004, and a year
later was promoted to senior vice president of business
integration.  He also served as general manager of the
Beijing office. Before joining Achievo, Dr. Li was senior
vice president of SinoCom Software Group, the largest
independent software outsourcing company in Beijing he
helped take public in Hong Kong.  Prior to that, he was
president and chief executive officer of CoreCom Systems, a
California-based software outsourcing company where he
directed the development of software consulting.  Dr. Li
has also held senior engineering consulting and management
positions at DigiSquare, Premier Tech, BellSouth and
Accenture.

    Dr. Li has an extensive academic background in applied
research of advanced computing. He was associated with Ohio
State University as a research scientist, and with the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a visiting
scientist.  He has written articles for several major
academic publications in the United States.  Dr. Li
received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Beijing
University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.  He earned his
MBA from California State University, and his doctoral
degree in computer science from Beijing Jiaotong
University.
