DuPont Titanium Technologies Announces a Price Increase for Ti-Pure(R) Titanium Dioxide Products in Latin America

WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 16 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- DuPont
Titanium Technologies today announced a price increase in
Latin America for all DuPont(TM) Ti-Pure(R) titanium
dioxide grades.
Effective September 1, 2006, or as permitted by
contract, prices for all Ti-Pure(R) titanium dioxide grades
will increase US$150 per tonne in Latin America. This
increase will be effective in Mexico, Central America,
Caribbean, and South America.
This increase is supported by market dynamics and
significant increases in raw material, energy and fuel
costs, as well as reinvestment economics to meet future
customer needs. DuPont Titanium Technologies has announced
other increases in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
