February 27, 2007

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 27 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Famed Chinese singing star Jacky Cheung celebrated Chinese New Year at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, United States, with two sold-out performances in the resort's 4,100-seat Colosseum theatre, where Celine Dion and Elton John often perform. Shown (in photo) with Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner and a regally costumed Caesar and Cleopatra, Cheung joined with his family to host his band for a festive Chinese New Year's Eve dinner, on the night before his first show. Cheung stays in shape for his energetic performances. He spent some time enjoying the new Caesars Palace spa, which has lavish Roman baths with a circular rain shower that comes from the ceiling. The family enjoyed shopping in The Forum Shops at Caesars and dining in the resort's Bradley Ogden restaurant, which won the country's 2004 Best New Restaurant award. Topping off their dining adventures was the Chinese New Year-themed feast in the Caesars Palace Empress Court restaurant, which was inspired by Hong Kong fine dining as a special amenity for international guests and all people who enjoy exquisite Asian cuisine.
