Piper Jaffray Launches Research Expertise in Shanghai

    SHANGHAI, China, March 15 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Piper
Jaffray has added research expertise in its recently-opened
Shanghai office with the promotion of Ming Yang to senior
research analyst. Yang worked with the clean technology
team at Piper Jaffray in New York for the past three years.
He will focus on covering China-based cleantech companies as
part of the global cleantech team. Additionally, Yang will
work with the firm's U.S.-based technology analysts as the
senior China technology analyst.

    Yang joined Piper Jaffray in 2004 as a research analyst
in the electronic manufacturing sector. Prior to that, he
was an analyst at Dreman Value Management. He has a
bachelor's degree in electronic engineering and computer
science from the University of California at Berkley, and a
master of business administration degree from Cornell
University in Ithaca, N.Y.
